Haze Cam Terms & Conditions

Effective date: August 6, 2026. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Haze Cam, a film-inspired camera app provided by Engcraft, LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using Haze Cam, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Provider and contact

Haze Cam is provided by Engcraft, LLC. For support, legal notices, or questions about these Terms, contact support@engcraft.io.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

Haze Cam offers paid auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock the full set of film looks, video presets, and other Pro features. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase, and may vary by country, taxes, currency, App Store pricing, or promotions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account is charged through the App Store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings; Engcraft cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Apple’s standard EULA applies unless a separate written agreement applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

Your photos, videos, and content

The photos and videos you capture, import, or edit in Haze Cam are yours. Film looks, light leaks, and other effects are applied on your device, and your media is kept in the app’s local library and in your device photo library when you choose to save or export it. If you turn on iCloud backup, copies are also stored in your own iCloud account through Apple’s CloudKit, which only you can access. Engcraft does not upload, host, review, or claim ownership of your photos and videos. You are responsible for the content you capture and for having the rights and permissions needed to photograph or record the people, places, and subjects you shoot, and to share the results.

Camera, microphone, photo library, and location permissions

Haze Cam asks for access to your camera to take photos and record video, your microphone to record sound with video, your photo library to import and save media, and, optionally, your location so it can be attached to the photos you take. You can grant or revoke each permission at any time in iOS Settings. Some features do not work without the related permission — recording sound requires microphone access, and location tagging requires location access.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Haze Cam, reverse engineer the app, attempt to extract source code, scrape or overload the service, bypass payment or entitlement checks, or capture, edit, or share content unlawfully, without the consent required where you are, or in a way that violates law or third-party rights. We may suspend access or stop providing the service if we believe these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Third-party services

Haze Cam relies on Apple for App Store billing, camera, photo library, and location services; RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlements; and Amplitude and Firebase for product analytics and push notifications. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for iOS distribution and may enforce the applicable terms against you.

Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

Haze Cam is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engcraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; or the loss, corruption, or deletion of photos, videos, or other data. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of media that matters to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engcraft’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Haze Cam during the three months before the claim.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Engcraft, LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of Haze Cam after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
